Spinner Lures for Arctic Char

Arctic char are at home in cold, clear waters, from the fell lakes of Lapland to large northern lakes. The period after ice-out is a distinctive time for shore fishing, while the warming summer changes where char spend their time.

For these clear northern waters, compare silver and natural baitfish finishes with more visible orange, pink or copper accents. Treat colour as something to explore with the day’s light and water clarity, rather than a fixed recipe. Check the local fishing season for your destination.
