What Fish Are Muotka Lures Spinners Suitable For?
Muotka Lures spinners are suitable for brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling, perch and pike in rivers and lakes. The rotating blade adds flash and vibration, while the fish-shaped body gives the lure a small baitfish profile. Choose the size and color to suit the water and the fish you are targeting.
How Does an Inline Spinner Work?
As you retrieve an inline spinner, its blade rotates around the wire shaft and creates flash and vibration in the water. These signals help fish notice the lure. In a Muotka Lures spinner, the fish-shaped body adds a baitfish-like profile to the movement of the blade.
How Do I Fish with an Inline Spinner?
Cast the spinner and start with a steady retrieve that keeps the blade turning. You can then experiment with retrieve speed or let the lure sink before starting to retrieve, depending on the depth and conditions. A simple cast-and-retrieve approach is a good starting point. Are Spinners Suitable for Beginners?
Yes. An inline spinner is a straightforward lure to start with: cast it out and retrieve it steadily so the blade turns. You can keep the technique simple while learning how different speeds, depths and colors affect your fishing.
What Makes Muotka Lures Spinners Different?
I combine a fish-shaped body with a French-style spinner blade, bringing a small baitfish profile to a familiar lure type. I design the lures myself and finish and assemble them by hand in Finland. Small differences in color and fine detail are a natural part of making each lure individually.
Can I Use the Same Spinner in Rivers and Lakes?
Yes. Muotka Lures spinners are designed for both flowing and still water, including rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. Adjust your retrieve to the current and depth while keeping the blade turning.
Should I Use a Swivel with a Spinner?
A swivel or snap swivel can help reduce line twist when fishing with a spinner, particularly with monofilament line. I recommend one if you notice your line twisting. Choose a suitable size so the connection does not interfere with the lure's movement.

Where Do You Ship?
I currently ship to Finland and selected European Union countries. You can find the current destination list in the shipping policy. Available delivery options and costs are shown at checkout.
What if My Country Is Not Available at Checkout?
Contact me at info@muotkalures.com and tell me which country you would like to order to. I can check whether a suitable shipping option is available before you place an order.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times are 2–5 business days within Finland and 4–14 business days to other supported EU countries. These are estimates, and delays with the carrier or other circumstances can affect delivery. See the shipping policy for details.
Will I Receive Tracking Information?
If your chosen delivery method includes tracking, the shipping confirmation email will include tracking details once your order has been dispatched. Tracking availability depends on the delivery method and destination.
Returns & Refunds
What Is Your Return Policy?
You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. For a standard return, the item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging, with tags attached. Please keep your receipt or other proof of purchase. Read the full return policy for the conditions and instructions.
How Do I Start a Return?
Email info@muotkalures.com with your order number and the item you want to return. Please contact me before sending the parcel so I can provide the return instructions and correct address.
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
You cover the shipping cost for a standard return. This does not apply if the item is defective or you received the wrong product. In either of those cases, contact me first so I can help arrange the return.
When Will I Receive My Refund?
Once I have received and inspected your return, I will let you know whether it has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to show the refund on your account.

Where Are Muotka Lures Spinners Made?
I design and make Muotka Lures spinners myself in Finland. Their design grows out of a lifelong interest in fishing and time spent by northern rivers and lakes. You can read more on My Story.
Are Muotka Lures Spinners Mass-Produced?
No. I make the spinners individually in small batches. Modern tools help me work precisely, while finishing and assembly remain hands-on parts of the process. Small variations between lures are part of that way of working.
Are the Lures Tested Before Sale?
Testing is part of how I develop and refine each model, including its balance and blade rotation. I do not swim-test every finished lure individually before sale. The testing relates to developing the design, rather than a separate test of each lure.
